WhatsApp Business API

Meta Cloud API — send & receive messages from leads

Webhook URL (paste into Meta Developer App)

In Meta Developer → WhatsApp → Configuration → Webhook URL + Verify Token

API Credentials

Found in Meta Business Manager → WhatsApp Business Accounts

Meta Developer App → WhatsApp → API Setup → Phone Number ID

Meta Business Manager → Settings → System Users → Generate token with whatsapp_business_messaging permission

Any string — paste the same value in Meta Developer App webhook config

Setup Checklist

  1. In Meta Developer App → WhatsApp → Configuration → paste the Webhook URL above
  2. Enter a Verify Token here and paste the same in Meta Developer App
  3. Subscribe to messages webhook field
  4. Create a System User in Business Manager with Manage access to the WABA
  5. Generate a permanent token with whatsapp_business_messaging permission
  6. Paste the token in the Access Token field above and save
  7. Once phone number status changes from "Pending" to "Connected", calls will go live
